Therapy for Parents & Carers | Support When You're Giving Everything You Have

Somewhere along the way, you stopped being just a person. You became a parent, a carer, a constant presence — and somehow, in all of that, you got lost.

You might feel guilty for struggling when you chose this life, or when other people appear to be managing fine. You might feel angry, then ashamed of the anger. You might be running on fumes, holding everything together for everyone else, and not sure there's anything left for you.

This is more common than you know. And you deserve support too

What we can work on

  • The exhaustion and identity loss that can come with early parenthood

  • Parental anxiety -- the worry that something will go wrong, that you're doing it wrong, that you're not enough

  • Birth trauma and its lasting impact

  • Relationship strain and disconnection with a partner after having children

  • The complicated feelings that can arise around the child you have, or the parent you had

  • Caring for an elderly or unwell family member -- the grief, guilt, and exhaustion that comes with it

  • Setting boundaries and finding space for your own needs without guilt

  • Burnout, low mood, and the slow erosion of your sense of self

How therapy helps:

This is a space entirely for you. Not for your child, your partner, or your family but for you. We'll explore what's underneath the pressure, make sense of where patterns come from, and work toward a version of daily life that feels more sustainable and more like your own.

Many of my clients find that even a few months of regular sessions can shift something fundamental not just in how they feel, but in how they show up for the people they love.

My approach: Relational, person‑centred, psychodynamic and mindfulness.

Session format: Weekly 50-minute sessions in‑person in Notting Hill, London or online across the UK.

You give so much. You deserve support too. Get in touch to ask a question or find out whether therapy with me might be right for you.
